Ball Pit for Kids

Ball Pit for Kids

Let’s get this out of the way right off the bat: everyone loves ball pits. It’s a universal truth that ball pits are fun for any person at any age. Yes, us adults require something larger than those younger than us, but a ball pit still remains a timeless gem. Unfortunately, there are not a lot of adult sized ball pits in existence (they would frankly need to be the size of a small pool), so we’ve been forced to review them for kids. If you really feel the itch to jump in and mix it up, you can, but make sure your kids aren’t in there at the same time. Also, make sure you don’t actually tell anyone what you’re doing should they happen to be the judgemental type.

The ball pits we chose to review happen to be for smaller children who are looking to expel a little energy and have you be able to keep an eye on them while they’re doing it. None of the ball pits we reviewed are extravagant in size or scope, but they’ll still be able to keep your young children happy for more than enough time. We also like the fact that all of the ball pits are fairly small and can be stashed away for future use without much fuss. Yes, the balls may be strewn about after a particularly rousing ball pit session, but such are the headaches associated with such a toy.

As we always do, we have managed to find three different ball pits that provide something a little different as well as three different price points. None of these ball pits are going to break the bank as they all come in at under $40. What we like about these ball pits is that not only do they provide a tremendous amount of entertainment, but it won’t set you back and cause you to fret about costs; that and they take very little time to set up and take down. Should your kids happen to be quite reckless with the balls they can be replaced for very little money too.

With all of that said, let’s take a look at some of our favourite ball pits for kids. Sorry to all the adults and teens out there who thought we may be officering you the full-sized ball pit you’ve been dreaming about ever since you were too old to enter one.

Ball Pit for Kids

Kuuqa Kids Ball Pit

The first ball pit we chose to look at was this one from Kuuqa Kids. What you’ll notice upon first glance is that this particular ball pit is quite small, but that’s because it’s intended to be used by toddlers and very small children. If you purchase this ball pit with this in mind you will not be disappointed. It can also be folded into an 18-cm diameter package which makes it incredibly easy to take with you or put in the closet when your kids are done with it. That paired with the fact that the whole thing is waterproof, making it incredibly easy to clean, should make it an easy decision for anyone on the fence.

The low price tag was something we really appreciated as well, with this ball pit coming in at under $15(!). Unfortunately, the balls are sold separately so there will be a small extra fee attached, but balls don’t have to cost a lot and you can determine how many you actually want to fill your pit. At the end of the day, this is a pretty easy decision to make. For under $20 you can have a ball pit for your small children and keep them happy and active for as long as you want.

Playz 3-Piece Kids Play Tent Tunnel and Ball Pit with Basketball Hoop

The second ball pit who chose to take a look at is this model from Playz. The first thing you’ll notice is that it is quite a bit more elaborate than the first model. This one comes with a tunnel for your kids to play in as well as a basketball hoop attachment within the ball pit itself. For especially active kids this is a great option as it gives them a number of ways to interact and play without getting bored and moving on the next thing immediately after beginning. It also comes with a small carrying case that’s easy to haul around with you. should you need to keep your kids occupied at someone else’s abode or a day in the park, this is an easy way to achieve that.

Coming in at just under $40, it isn’t going to hurt your pocketbook either. The best part about all of these ball pits is that the fun is very affordable and will actually work to keep your kids happy. Again, this particular model doesn’t come with balls of its own, so you’ll have to drop a few extra dollars to fill it up (below we’ll have a ball recommendation for you as well, which will take care of any concerns about where to purchase them.)

This is a fun set pit with lots of different options for fun for those kids that tend to be quite active. It’s easy to take with you anywhere, won’t cost that much money, and will keep your kids happy and active for hours; an easy choice to make.

Disney Mickey Having a Ball with 20 Balls

The last one we chose to take a look at was this model from our good friends over at Disney. As kids still tend to love Disney, this was a pretty easy decision to make. It’s not overly elaborate, and is best suited to small children and toddlers, but if your kids happen to be fans of Mickey and Goofy then this is the ball pit for you. This ball pit is inflatable so it’s very easy to set up, take down, and take with you anywhere you go. It’s the simplest of the three we chose to review, but the combination of Disney characters and its simple setup was what made the decision easy for us.

Disney Mickey Having a Ball

Unlike the other two, this ball pit actually comes with balls which should save you a few bucks on the other end. It does only come with 20 balls, so you can supplement if you would like but it’s not totally necessary. It comes in at just under $40, thus not causing you any financial consternation. Should you have a small child who loves Disney and you need something fun and easy for them to play on, then look no further than this guy here.
