Best Trampoline Tent
Something we talk a lot about on this site, when discussing things for our kids, is what are fun and inexpensive toys out there that will keep them entertained and happy for a sustained period? We go through this often, and have come across such gems as playsets and trampolines. Wouldn’t it be even easier if you could find an addition to something you’ve already purchase? Something that will seamlessly work with something your kids already enjoy as well as save you from buying another large toy for them would be the ideal. Luckily, we have found something that will work, should you have the requisite equipment already. An easy addition to the backyard if there ever was one.

In our search to find that oh so coveted toy accouterment, we came across the trampoline tent. As you probably ascertained from the words “trampoline tent,” it is exactly that; a tent attachment for the trampoline you have set up in your yard. As kids constantly clamour to take a camping trip, this is an excellent and infinitely easier way to go about it. It doesn’t require the days of packing and preparation that go into an actual camping trip, yet still delivers the same thrills as a night in the wilderness.
Each of these tents won’t break the bank and will provide all the thrills of camping without having to ever leave the backyard. Each one has something a little different than the others, so if you have a trampoline in the yard all of these should be able to work in some capacity. What we liked about these the most is that they provide thrills for both parents and kids, which toys don’t often do. Parents get to spend a few dollars and give their kids the thrill of camping without all the headaches, while the kids get to have a camping experience all within the safe confines of their own yard. Set up a fire, make a few s’mores, barbeque a few hotdogs, and you’re practically there in the woods.
With that said, let’s take a look at our favourite trampoline tents, and the ones that will work best for you and your trampoline.
Best Trampoline Tent
The first trampoline tent we wanted to discuss was this model from Propel Trampolines. They advertise this particular model as a “club house,” but it will work just as fine as a tent. Some of the features we appreciated immediately were the three screened windows, the weather resistant walls, and the one-piece assembly. It’s an addition to your current trampoline that will take minimal work, which, as parents, is something we can all appreciate. This particular model is created for 15 foot trampolines, so that’s obviously something you’re going to want to keep in mind before purchase.
This works great as a tent or club house, and will stay secure when put on your trampoline properly. This is a perfectly simple addition to what you already have, and coming in at a shade over $120 it’s not going to break the bank either. This is one of those toys where your kids should be able to get quite a bit of enjoyment out of it relative to the cost. Value being something we strive for constantly, this certainly fits into that category. A simple, valuable addition to what you already own, this will work fantastically for anyone who owns a 15-footer currently.
The second trampoline tent we thought we should discuss is actually the same model as the first one we discussed, but 12 feet in diameter instead. It’s obviously quite important to order the right size of trampoline tent, otherwise you’re stuck with a tent that simply won’t fit and likely has no other practical usage.
Seeing as how it’s the same model as the previous one, there’s no reason to discuss its technical and practical merits. If you’re looking into one of these tents for yourself, it would also behoove you to take a peek at some related tent accoutrement like sleeping bags, outdoor pillows, and various other fun things like that to keep things feel outdoors-y. when we tried these out with our kids we learned that the best way to keep them happy was to try and make the experience as authentic as we possibly could.
Like we mentioned earlier, a fire with hot dogs or your protein of choice, as well as sleeping bags and some games are always appreciated. The small extra steps made to authenticate the experience will only serve you in the long run and will keep the kids happy and occupied.
The last trampoline tent we wanted to discuss is this model from JumpSport. It’s a little different in that it more closely resembles what our traditional ideas of a tent are. The peaked, top, the zipper enclosure, the mesh side windows. Another element of this tent we came to appreciate is that is has a bit more flexibility in terms of the size of trampoline it can work with. This particular tent works for any trampoline between the sizes of 12 and 14 feet, so you can take a few more liberties here when purchasing. The other aspect we appreciated is that if you own a tent with a safety net surrounding it, this tent will actually be able to fit inside the net itself. The other models may force you to remove your safety net before you set up the tent itself, make for a slightly more laborious exercise.
Coming in just under $100, this tent also won’t hurt your wallet too badly. It’s a really easy tent to set up, and should provide all the same thrills as the others do, provided you make the experience worthwhile. It’s not quite as large as the other two, but will still be more than accessible for multiple kids for a night or two. If you’re looking for something easy to set up and flexible for the size of trampoline you have or are going to purchase, this is the one for you.
